Lemare’s daughter, Betty, was very close to her father. After his death, she preserved his sheet music and memorabilia, copyrighted unpublished music, attended concerts, provided interviews and facilitated Nelson Barden’s historical work, including the donation of Lemare’s 1913 organ rolls to Barden.
Since Betty’s death in 2007, her daughter, Jeannine Lemare Calaba, has continued in Betty’s place. She has created this website and is the contact person for questions and information.
